This bilingual book, beautifully designed and produced by Dingle Publishing, presents Irish text on left pages with English translations on the right. Following an introduction and acknowledgement section, each musician is profiled. There follows a series of short chapters on each of the seventeen songs and five instrumental tracks containing (i) a short account of the historical background to the poem/song and poet/composer for all songs except for a few where the author is unknown and (ii) the lyrics of the song, with literal translations provided for the nine Irish language songs. Notes on instrumental tracks are provided by the musicians. The table of song titles, authors and instrumental tracks, taken from the book, is given below.
